About the Creator
I grew up in Brighton, surrounded by the aromas of local Chinese takeaways, but it wasn’t until I traveled to Guangzhou that I truly understood the depth and artistry behind Cantonese cooking. Back home, I started recreating those dishes in my own kitchen, tweaking recipes to suit local ingredients and quicker prep times. What began as a personal challenge became this website — a place where I share what I’ve learned with others who crave real flavor without the wait.
